Milgram Experiment on Obedience, 1962

Here is an interesting 1962 Yale psychology experiment regarding obedience to authority relevant in many real world scenarios today (see video below). As a primary finding, Dr. Stanley Milgram documents that 65 percent of participants administered pain to the highest degree available to a stranger by following the orders of a superior. For its memorable nature, this one is right up there with the “groupthink” concept explained to students during freshman year in many American colleges.
