Pyres, Irony and Arrogance

Earlier today I stumbled off the beaten path to take this picture of “The Shade” and the Sunset with a flower dedicated in front presumably to the Paris victims from Friday’s massacre. The Rodin statue represents a gift from Paris to commemorate the deaths of several Atlantans from a plane crash years ago in France. I have always found this gift to be impressive.
